Travis L. Robinson (he/him/his) 


Travis L. Robinson is a culture and brand evangelist, focusing on curating experiences that amplify belonging.


Travis is Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Social Impact for Airtable, a hyper-growth technology disruptor.  He is responsible for the global development and strategic direction of the DEI function, and building out the philanthropy and corporate social responsibility initiatives.  Prior to this, he served in similar roles as Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Spotify and Universal Music Group (the first in the role for a major music label). In these roles, Travis was responsible for global oversight of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy for the music industry giants. In addition, he has led other people operations programs such as early career talent programs, mental health programs, inclusive recruiting, employer branding and inclusive storytelling initiatives. 


While at Spotify, he was responsible for the central initiatives for the Creator Equity Fund for music and podcasting, and also oversight for the Racial Equity Fund.  During his time at Universal Music Group, Travis served as co-chair of the Internal & Institutional Change committee for the Task Force for Meaningful Change. Prior to joining Universal Music Group, he was Global Head of Diversity Recruiting & Americas Campus Programs at Spotify. He also served in similar roles at other industry leading, multinational brands such as: JPMorgan Chase & Co., The Federal Reserve System, and W Hotels. 


In his community and economic impact work, he is involved in advocacy and change work for equity with underrepresented communities. Robinson is Co-Founder of The 12th Avenue Agency and Zeal Culture, a collective of diversity, equity & inclusion services related to brand development, impact investing, and thought leadership.  He is an Advisory Board Member for ADCOLOR and tech startups, We The Project and Specta, a division of The Hello Group. Travis is also a registered member of The Recording Academy and The Gaingels Network. 


Travis graduated from The George Washington University with a master’s degree in strategic public relations at The Graduate School of Political Management.  He also holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Lee University and various other certifications in People Management. Travis currently resides in Southern California with his partner.
