Travis L. Robinson is a people and brand evangelist, specializing in curating connections and experiences for diversity, equity and belonging.
Robinson currently serves as Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Spotify. In this role, Travis is responsible for global oversight of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Strategy in each business unit; Early Career Pipeline; Mental Health; Inclusive Hiring & Development; and Digital Storytelling. Prior to rejoining Spotify, he served in a similar oversight role as Vice President, Head of Global Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging at Universal Music Group, the first to have the title for any major label music company. While at Universal Music Group, Robinson also served as co-chair of the Internal & Institutional Change committee for the Task Force for Meaningful Change. Prior to joining Universal Music Group, he was Head of Global Diversity Recruiting & Americas Campus Programs at Spotify. He has also served in similar roles in diversity & inclusion and people operations at other industry leading, multinational brands such as: JPMorgan Chase & Co., The Federal Reserve System, and W Hotels.
In his community and economic impact work, he is involved in advocacy and change work for equity with underrepresented communities. Robinson is Co-Founder of The 12th Avenue Agency and Zeal Culture, a collective of diversity, equity & inclusion services related to brand development, impact investing, and thought leadership/consulting. He is an Advisory Board Member for We The Project, Specta (a subsidiary of The Hello Group), and ADCOLOR in Music. In addition, he is a registered member of The Recording Academy and Gaingels Network.
Robinson graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Lee University and holds a master's degree from The George Washington University in strategic public relations, through The Graduate School of Political Management. He resides in Southern California USA with his partner.
